I love the thought of a cereal dispenser but this is not perfect. I've had mine for a couple years and I really wish they would alter is slightly to make it better. One, some cereals it does crush a bit. If you turn the dial in only one direction this will cut down on this though. To me, not a huge deal and I knew this was going to happen when I bought it based on reviews. What I didn't know until owning was the following. The rubber stoppers to seal the bottom will not stay on anymore. They just fall right off and that means the bottom is exposed and more likely to get dirty and is not as sanitary. I always hand washed them so I have no explanation for why this happened except poor workmanship and quality. The second thing is that these things make a huge mess! Even with bowls underneath the cereal manages to pop over the edge or out of the bowl. I end up having cereal all over my counter. This is a great annoyance. If they tweaked the rubber wheel inside and the bottom opening, they would have a great product. As it stand right now it's just okay.

I ordered this cereal dispenser for my adult son. He filled it with raisin bran. When he turned the knob to release the cereal into a bowl, the flakes of cereal broke up. Some missed the bowl and went on the floor. He's going to try putting Cheerios in it to replace the raisin bran. If it doesn't work well with the Cheerios, I plan to return the item.Does what it's supposed to do, but feels cheap...

Never really eating breakfast in the morning, mainly due to being in a rush to get out the door for work or school, I decided to get this, even though it looked silly, in an attempt to easily have some cereal in the morning without dealing with the box itself.

Well, the product works as advertised. It stores cereal, or whatever else you'd like to put in there, like CANDY, you place a bowl underneath, take out the little plastic stopper on the bottom (to keep air out, and keep the food fresh), and spin the nozzle... and out flows breakfast.

However, the construction of this item is awfully cheap feeling. The company has a dual version of this thing made with steel... but it's more than four times the price of this item. But I bet it doesn't feel like it's going to break either.

It also kind of leans forward at a tilt, another sign of cheap craftsmanship.

I don't know if this thing is going to break soon... but I guess it's alright. Again, it does what it's advertised to, it just doesn't seem like it'll last for years to come. If you really like the idea of this product though, perhaps consider splurging on the steel version.

This is just plain fun. It looks cool on the counter too. Great conversation piece too. When we first saw it we knew oatmeal would never work, you need a bigger product. There was a flaw though. It is crooked. The black holder is crooked but it is still fun so we over look it.
