When these first came out, I thought they were terrific -- but after using them on several dogs, I discovered they cut/tear too much of the top coat/guard hairs that most people want to keep. I also found it a little rough on my dog's skin. Since then, I've discovered the Oster Wide 18-tooth rake which is phenomenal. VERY gentle on the skin and it pulls the undercoat easily without cutting or tearing. The Oster rake has been much more effective for easily removing huge amounts of undercoat quite easily. The Oster is also about half the price and definitely worth every penny.Great Product

Well, like a lot of other people, I was doubtful that this would actually help with the "fur situation". We have 2 cats and everything is covered!! I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the Furminator really works. Now, I just have to remember to use it on a regular basis.

We adopted our dog in October 2002 and upon advice from the vet, we've been using Frontline Plus ever since. We live in South Florida which means ticks and fleas are a problem year round, but we've never seen either pest on our dog even though neighbors have found some on theirs. Frontline and other flea and tick meds have come under fire over the years, however we follow the directions (which are clear and easy to read) and our dog has never had a problem. After buying the initial batch from the vet at over $20 per application, I was ordering Frontline from a pet medication website. Last month I noticed that was selling it for $14.00 less for a 6-month supply. Got my order in the usual way: On time, problem-free, and cheaper.

Soon after applying the frontline medication my cat freaked out and went outside and has yet to come back indoors. He has been an indoor cat for over 8 years (he's 11 now) He seems fine but the fact that he refuses to come indoors concerns me. I also found a tick!!!!! I called Merial and they informed me to NOT purchase medication on line even from "safe" brokers ie. .com My advice is to purchase frontline or any other similar product from your local vet. I feel almost blessed thinking what could have happened to my beloved Pekoe.

With three dogs, daily walks and responsible dog ownership, it's amazing how many dog poop bags I go though a year! These are the ones I usually buy at a national chain pet store, but I noted that they were a few dollars cheaper here on per pack (which over a year, can add up to a reasonable savings).

These bags are durable, semi-see-through (which is good for insuring you don't touch poop during tie-up!), and they have a small printed white block on the open-end so you know which side to peel open. They are wrapped around a black, hollow, hard plastic tube (which means you could tie a cord though it to attach it to something). These work well with both side-opening and top-opening dispensers (though I no longer use a dispenser... I just stick the roll in my pocket or waist pack).

If you have a Prime membership, then buying these are a no-brainer since shipping is already paid for. If not, I guess you should do the math on your shipping situation to see if it makes financial sense to order these here. Either way, these bags work great.

We have these bags attached to the leash, and it's great not having to worry about grabbing a bag before a walk. They are also biodegradable. They are several dollars cheaper on than at the pet stores.

This product is JUNK!!! I purchased it, from , in August of 2008, and by February of 2009 the pump had quit working. I contacted about replacement parts, who in turn told me to contact the company that actually ships the product, Smarthome. After wasting months with Smarthome trying to get replacement parts, I shipped the entire unit back to Smarthome for a replacement. We received the replacement in June of 2009 and once put into service, it proceeded to dump all the water in the reservoir on to the floor. I contacted Smarthome and was told that they were sorry for the problem, but there was nothing they could do and that I should contact the manufacturer. Classic runaround!! To this day it just sits, in a box, unused! Just be forewarned, this is an expensive waste of good money!!kitties love it!

I really like the new gate on the platinum model and that the reservoir comes with it instead of having to purchase seperatley. My cats both love it and drink more water than if they just had a regular bowl. The only drawback is putting the reservoir on the drinkwell, but other than that I can't find a complaint. This makes my life easier.

My indoor cat mysteriously came to leave flea dirt on my white sheets a few weeks ago. He had been let outside at my parent's house for less than ten minutes in the backyard and came home itching and scratching. We bought Raid, a Hartz collar, the cheap neck stuff from Petland, and Hartz flea shampoo. None of these worked, although I did follow one websites' advice to cut off the collar and put it in the vaccuum collection to kill any that you clean up. My distraught self looked up all the reviews on and found that Advantage had the best ratings above Frontline. I ordered it and paid an extra 26 bucks to have it the next day. So for the 66 dollars I paid in the end, I am totally happy. I applied it to the cat and within a day he was clear. We checked with a flea comb and white sheets. He's all good now and it's been a week. The cat did dig and dig at his neck and has a small circle of missing fur in the place where we applied the medicine - not sure if it's the medicine or his digging. But I am so happy to have used this treatment and offer advice to all seeking a quick result.

We just ordered this fountain and have been very happy with it. It's only been about a month so we are hoping it holds up long-term but so far it has been great. We have two cats that use it...they had a Cat-it dome fountain which broke and was loud. This fountain has three great features: very quiet, holds a lot of water, and easy to fill/clean. I bought the cleaning kit but probably didn't need to, unless you have really big hands the fountain is big enough to clean easily with a sponge. Overall, great purchase.A Must-Have!

I purchased one of these to keep our dogs penned and then bought another to provide a larger area. They worked quite well and could be easily folded and kept out of the way when not in use. This is an excellent product. Its easy up & down in just a few minutes. We use it for our 2 toy poodles, they can remain in safe environment without having to be on a leash while picnicing/traveling, camping/swimming, etc.
