The box was soaking wet, and marked DAMAGED on the box

the heat gun was so wet inside it had water inside it..
doesn't exchange, so now i am stuck with a non working heat gun that is molding inside and out.

I emailed amazon 9 times with no answer at all. Worked like a charm

We used the heat gun to loosen epoxy holding undermount vanity sinks. We removed the sinks easily. It worked like a charm.

I like this one because it has a variable temperature and the plastic housing stays cool. I used it lightly for over a year and then on one day of heavy continuous use (about 20-30 minutes) it just died. Reading the reviews here it seems to be a common issue. Knowing that now (as I place my order for a second one) I will know that it can only be used for shorter durations and that it requires time to cool in between. The same thing happened with my shredder when I tried to over use it (continuous for 30 minutes), so it is just one of those items that has to be used in a cycle of 10min on/10min off.all around perfect AAAAA+++++

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR USE IN AUTOMOTIVE, EXACTLY TO PLACE DYNAMAT IN CARS, WICH MEANS A LOT OF HOURS RUNNING AND TOTAL HEAT, AND WORKS PERFECTLY. CAMES WITH CASE AND ALL THINGS NECESARY, BUT I ONLY USE THE FOCUS ONE OR SOMETIMES WIDER. IT WILL BE BETTERS, BUT THIS WORKS GREAT FOR ME AND FOR THE PRICE.
